JSR-311 REST Dojo

What is a Dojo?

A dojo is a Japanese term referring to a formal training place for any of the Japanese do arts but typically considered the formal gathering place for students to conduct training, examinations and other related encounters.

In the context of BeJUG a Dojo is a small group of Java enthusiast developing a hands on practical case study focusing on a specific technical topic.

During this Dojo we'll implement a pure RESTful interface of the current RESTlike Parleys.com interface using JAX-RS techniques and discuss related patterns, issues and other opportunities... in short a fun technical hands on evening session with peers!

Practical

The Dojo project is hosted @ http://code.google.com/p/parleys-rest/

On Google code you can also find a template Java project where we'll share our work. You can also find a draft version of the REST interface we'll implement using JAX-RS.
